Club volleyball is an opportunity to play volleyball outside of high school-sponsored activities. The club consists of at least 30 girls from Gunnison and Crested Butte. They have one 14 and under team, two 16 and under teams, a 17 and under team, and an 18 and under team. Depending on the team, the players practice in the Gunnison or Crested Butte school gyms on Monday and Wednesday. Not as many people joined this year as they did last year, but it’s still a fun experience no matter how many people join or not.

They are a team that stays in Colorado; most of the games and tournaments are in either Denver or Colorado Springs. At the end of the season they go to Colorado Crossroads for a three-day tournament.  There are lots of coaches this year including Marcella Tarantino (head coach), Sheri Covey, Marla Covey, Maisy Ramsey, and Desiree Bartelli
