The Gunnison High School (GHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) made a solid showing at the horse and livestock judging competitions in Hotchkiss on Wednesday, April 6. Both judging teams finished with a Silver Award (2nd Place) at the District competition.

FFA Advisor Scott Nordberg is very proud of the girls horse judging team, which is comprised of three sophomores and a freshman. The team members are Aspen McNulty, Teara Irby, Ryann Nordberg and Morgan Greenhalgh.

The boys livestock judging team also took second place. Senior Brendan Roy is joined by juniors Ty Taramarcaz and Jayce Davis on that team.
