Here at the Giddyup, we take our testing very seriously, which is why we took three days testing each and every detail about the water fountains in Gunnison High School (GHS).

All to bring you, the curious reader, knowledge on what water is going to satisfy and bring you the most happiness.

The absolute best water in the school has to be the science hallway water fountain, this fountain brings nothing but thirst quenching bliss. The fountain has many pros such as very cold water, great taste and an extremely convenient location. Another plus is the side buttons which provide ease of use and again more convenience.

Our next rating was the main gym’s water fountain. This fountain is great, nearly as good as the science hallway but is in 2nd as the location is just inconsistent and can only be accessed if you are in a sport or if you get lucky enough for the doors to be open. The pros are very cold water, side buttons, great taste, two separate fountains and a high quality bottle filler.

The library hall got our third choice and is decent at best. Its location is interesting as it’s at the end of the hall. If you’re in that vicinity go ahead and try it but if you’re anywhere else in the school the science hall is the way to go. The fountain’s pros are decently cold water, a separate bottle filler, side buttons and good taste. The cons are the location.

Next we have the main entrance water fountain. This fountain is on the brink of being a lot lower on the list but it has a very cold bottle filler, maybe the coldest in the school. The pros are a cold bottle filler, the convenient location and the side buttons. The cons are the coldness of the regular water and the taste.

Next we get to the outside of the main gym. The location of this one is interesting as it is so close to the main gym’s fountain and is kind of useless when the gym doors are unlocked. The pros are a water bottle filler and side buttons, the cons are location, taste, coldness and convenience.

The outside of the theater or auditorium has borderline the worst location in the school and is only above the math hallway because it isn’t the math hallway. This water fountain is in the darkest mustiest corner in the school and is forgotten by most. The pros are a high velocity beam can be shot into the hallway and the bottle filler. The cons are taste, location, coldness and the button on top of the fountain.

And now we are at the bottom of the list, this water fountain is in the math hallway and is the worst, most disgusting water we’ve ever tasted. If you like this water you’re wrong. This fountain has near to boiling water coming out of its moldy spickett. The pros are a bottle filler. The cons are taste, location, a button on top of the fountain and the coldness.
